I felt this burger was mediocre. I don't see how this is the best burger in the Temecula Valley.

Overall, the wine at Falkner Winery is good for the Temecula Valley.

I recommend doing a tasting here. Be sure to try the 22' Cab.

Tasting Notes

22' Sauvignon Blanc

This wine has an apple and floral head. The taste is apple with a minerality throughout and notes of pear and grapefruit. The body is good.

22' Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a very good cab. The nose is cherry and the flavor is cherry and blackberry with mild pepper and oak notes. The body is mild, tanins are low and acidity is balanced.

21' Syrah

This wine has a cherry aroma. The flavor is muddled cherry, cocoa and herbs with a bitter finish. The body is muddled too.

22' Meritage

This wine is a blend of cabernet franc, merlot and cabernet sauvignon. The aroma and flavor are muted. However, the nose can be described as alcohol with faint berry. The flavor is cherry with oak notes and a mineral finish. Tanins are mild and acidity is mild.

21' Chardonnay

This wine has a strong apple and pear nose. The flavor is apple and pear with mild oakiness. There is a smooth buttery texture and overall light body.
