Peltzer is a good winery to check out in the Temecula Valley.
All of thee wines here are decent or better, so feel free to try anything. Great wines to try here are the 20' Cabernet Sauvignon and 20' Syrah. Although, I did not like it, the 20' Aged Barrel Zinfandel is worth a try too, due to it's uniqueness.

This wine has an apple and pear nose. The bubbles are lite and body is good. The flavor is apricot with some sweetness. Overall, this is an OK wine.

This wine has an apricot aroma and flavor with some sweetness. The body is muddled.
19' Estate Barbera
19' Estate Barbera
This wine has dark cherry and spices aromatics. The taste is baking spice, raspberry and oak. The acidity is well balanced and tanins are low. This Barbera has a looser body than normal.
20' Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine has beautiful floral, plum and boysenberry aromatics. The delicious flavor is reminiscent of raspberry jam with a mineral oak finish. The body is lite, acidity is balanced and tanins are moderate.
20' Syrah

This wine has strong plum and vanilla aromatics with a hint of licorice. There is a nice oak and berry flavor here with cranberry notes. The acidity is balanced, tanins are moderate and body is good.
20' Aged Bourbon Barrel Zinfandel

This wine has an alcohol nose and cherry medicine flavor. It's not enjoyable on the palette at all. Tanins are high, acidity is mild and the body is decent. Overall, I don't like this wine. However, it is unique and therefore worth a try.
