The tomahawk steak was excellent. I highly recommend it with shrimp. It feeds 2 persons easily. We'll be back for round 2 soon.

The wine at Oak Mountain is a below average for what the Temecula Valley has to offer. There were many good things about and issues with the wine here. With some improvements this could easily become one of the better wineries in the region.
Oak Mountain has an excellent restaurant and distillery. This is my favorite winery restaurant in Temecula. I come here often to eat and drink at the distillery. See the button that links to the distillery page above. Overall, Oak Mountain is a great place to spend some time during your next visit to Temecula. Don't miss out.

23' Chardonnay
23' Chardonnay
This wine has an apple and floral nose with a slight hint of mildew. The taste is apple and pear with a mineral finish.
23' Viognier
23' Viognier
This wine has a mild apple, honey and floral nose. Once again, there is a slight hint of mildew. The flavor is sweet pear with a mineral finish. This wine was chilled, which was greatly appreciated.
21' Syrah
21' Syrah
This wine has a pepper, alcohol and floral aroma. Once again, there is a slight mildew aroma. The taste is raspberry and oak. The body is uneven and there are signs that the grapes may have been scorched due to heat in the flavor. The wine also possesses high acidity and tanins.
20' Pinotage
20' Pinotage
This wine has a berry, pepper and alcohol nose. The taste is strong plum with hints of oak and black pepper. The body is uneven.
