Somerset has average wine for the Temecula region.

This is probably a good winery to bring beginners to because some of the wines are sweet and others are grape juice tasting. There is plenty of space to lounge around outside too.

Tasting Notes

22' GRV Blend

This wine is a blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussane and Viognier. The nose is melon and taste is apple and apricot. The body is nice and even.

22' Drunk Bunnies Symphony

This is a wine with very floral aromatics and a hint of citrus and honey. The taste is fig, peach and honey. It is very sweet and has a good body. It is reminiscent of a late harvest Viognier.

21' Malbec

This wine has floral aromatics with a hint of cherry, licorice and spices. The flavor is pepper with boysenberry notes. It has a good body.

21' Petite Sirah

This wine has a pepper, floral and alcohol head. The flavor is grape juice and pepper with some raspberry and boysenberry notes. This is a wine for beginners.

19' Cabernet Franc

This wine has aromatics that are reminiscent of jalapeno cheese and salted pretzel... I kid you not. The flavor is plum and the body is lite.

20' Cabernet Sauvignon

Strawberry and floral aromatics are present in this wine. There is a hint of cereal or barley in the nose too. The flavor can be described as raspberry and grape jam with bitter oak notes. The body is nice.
