Vindemia has much better wines than average for wineries in the Temecula Valley. However, they are expensive due to their aged quality. I personally don't believe someone should be paying so much for aged wines at a boutique winery. With that said, a visit here will not be disappointing.
This wine has a pear nose with bitter apple and peach flavor with a mineral finish. The body is nice.
This wine has a faint green apple aroma with apricot flavor and a mineral finish.
This wine is a Grenache and Syrah blend. Those nose is cherry and strawberry. The flavor is lite cherry, blackberry and licorice. The body is lite.
This wine is a blend of Zinfandel and a small amount of Petite Sirah. The nose is lite strawberry, cherry and oak. The flavor is strawberry and raspberry with dark cherry notes. This wine was aged for 24 to 26 months in oak barrels. The flavor is tailored. However, the wine is expensive for what you're getting.
This is a Beaujolais style wine with no oak. The nose is lavender, Earl Grey and citrus. The taste is lite citrus with cherry, blossom and earthly notes. This wine is particularly acidic and the body is odd in comparison to other wines here. It is worth a try to experience the Beaujolais style, even if you don't care for it.
The Zinfandel has an herb, plum and cherry aroma. It has a plum and mineral flavor with strong cherry and blackberry notes. The wine is acidic and lite in body. There is a strong lingering prune aroma. I did not enjoy this wine.
This wine has an oak, moss and cherry nose. The flavor is blackberry and raspberry with licorice notes. The body is medium. Overall, it's a great wine.
