Wiens is a winery with a lot of potential. However, there are lots of wines here with problems. Hopefully, the wine will improve in the future. If you do make a stop here, try the 23' Chardonnay, 21' Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and Ruby Port.

This wine has an apple aroma and sour apple flavor. There is notable acidity and the body is good.
21' Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine has oak aromatics. The flavor is muted berry. This is an overall nice wine with a nice body.
21' Pinot Noir

This wine has a funky aroma with a muted berry flavor with pepper and tobacco notes. The acidity is low and tanins are low. Overall, this is not a good Pinot Noir. Perhaps the grapes were choked by the sun.

This wine has an oak aroma. It is a bit acidic. Overall, it's a great port. The tasting room served it with dark chocolate to bring out strong fruit notes in the chocolate. This is a great idea to serve chocolate with the port.
