About the Rating System
The purpose of the rating system is to give guidance to wine explorers as they plan visits to the Temecula Wine region. All ratings are based on my personal preferences and are not an indication of actual quality.
The purpose of the rating system is to give guidance to wine explorers as they plan visits to the Temecula Wine region. All ratings are based on my personal preferences and are not an indication of actual quality.
A rating of 1 is a Low Recommendation
A rating of 1 is a Low Recommendation
Wineries with a rating of 1 are wineries that I did not enjoy and would not personally recommend. However, it is a good idea to explore wineries that are not recommended too because everyone has a different palette.
A rating of 2 is a Neutral Recommendation
A rating of 2 is a Neutral Recommendation
Wineries with a rating of 2 are wineries that are satisfactory and represent a typical wine in the region. There will be some wines at these wineries that I thoroughly enjoyed. But, overall, I felt the wine offered was just OK.
A rating of 3 is a High recommendation
A rating of 3 is a High recommendation
Wineries with a rating of 3 are wineries that I felt were of good quality and would recommend for most explorers to visit. If you are looking to join a wine club, I would start here. Hopefully, my tasting notes will be helpful in sorting out which wineries you should visit first.
