The wine here at Foot Path is the smallest batch and most boutique wine you can find in the Temecula Valley. The wine here is much better than average. Good wines to checkout here are the 21' Malbec and 17' Zinfandel.
Foot Path is the only winery I know of without a permanent bathroom facility. There is an outside portable stall. There are barking dogs on the property that are quite pesky and the patio area will not be inviting for all guests. Additionally, hobbies and clutter are present throughout the tasting room. Hopefully, improvements can be made so that the tasting room is more inviting and the wine can be shared with more wine drinkers. Overall, a stop here is worth your time.
This wine has a very nice raspberry and blackberry flavor. Present are notes of strawberry, raspberry and cherry. It has a good body, low tanins and balanced acidity.
This wine has a nice saffron, plum and oak nose. The flavor is plum and boysenberry with subtle earthly notes and a tart finish. The acidity is balanced, the body is good and tanins are moderate.
This wine has a plum, oak and Earl Grey aroma. The flavor is strong black licorice and herb with subtle berry notes. The acidity and tanins are mild. It is an interesting wine, but overall I don't like it.
The nose is plum and saffron. The flavor is subtle berry with oak notes. The acidity is notable, tanins are mild and body is good. I feel the acidity takes away from the flavor of this wine.
The nose is plum and saffron also. However, this wine has a stronger berry flavor. The acidity is low, tanins are low and body is good. This is a very tasty Petite Sirah.
This wine has plum and cinnamon aromatics and a tart berry flavor. The acidity is high, body is good and the tanins are low. The low tanins are surprising for a Syrah.
